Copy desired 4d files from Rush for Berlin to C:\Documents and Settings\*USERNAME* 4. In Command Prompt type: 4dconv *FILENAME.4d" (replace *FILENAME* with the copied 4d's filename). 5. When conversion finishes the converted file will be in the C:\Documents and Settings\*USERNAME*\ directory under the name FILENAME-new.4d.

The Plug-Ins
DDS-Import/Export The NVIDIA DDS plug-in supports the DXTC texture compression format and allows you to open and save .dds files in RGB format. It reads and writes .dds files in compressed or uncompressed forms, provides support for per-MIP color fading, MIP-corrected normal mapping, and more.
The NVIDIA Normal Map filter creates normal maps from grayscale height maps. The filter UI provides a powerful 3D preview and a variety of filtering options. For MIP-mapped normal maps, the NormalMap Filter should be used for preview only, and then the grayscale map exported via the DDS plugin with "Normal Map Settings..." enabled. This will create a normal map with maximal detail and fidelity for all texture levels, without undesirable filter aliasing.
The Scripts
Mipster Mipster is a mip-map generation script, for Photoshop CS2 and above, that leverages the power of Photoshop’s internal image filtering engine along with the (optional) NVIDIA DDS Plug-in and Normal Map Filter (for Windows). While Mipster will function without either of these NVIDIA plug-ins (e.g., on Macintosh), it works best in tandem with them. Running Mipster on any image will create a collection of mip-map layers in your current Photoshop document -- one layer per MIP. Cube Map Shuffler This script rearranges cube-map-face elements for use with different export and editing tools. It can quickly convert and copy between different cubemap layout formats, a task that has previously been annoyingly slow and error-prone. If you are used to editing cube map faces, you’ll find this script makes format changes a lot easier.

Java Based StormRegion 4D Model Editor Version 0.1
4D Editor is written in Java and requires Java Runtime Environment; you can download it from www.java.com. This program displays 3d-graphics and it needs some dlls (java OpenGL binding). Move the files from the "OpenGL Binding DLL Files (Read Info)" folder to your "system32" folder (by default "C:\WINDOWS\system32"). You can start the program just clicking on the "Java4d" coffee-cup icon, or from the "cmd" console by typing from the program's path:
java -jar "java4d.jar" The command above displays the console, in which are displayed errors, messages etc (you can use it to report errors, bugs...) Other .jar files MUST be into the lib\ subdirectory.

This is a tool that will probably help many of the people who don't know how to edit the game.ini file. With this small program you simply choose your game's language from a list and click "Select" to save your newly compiled game.ini file. It's pretty self explanatory.
I tried to keep the tool's design as simple as possible but an advanced button is still included for you to change more settings.
