Hello! My 1,5 year's work is here - the realism mod.
This mod concerns chiefly armour and gun penetration values, but also artillery ranges and damage, fixes the anti-tank MGs, enables some vehicles to tow and guns to be towed and changes, units' appearance in markets (trying to be historically accurate ;)) and some descriptions. So it's quite a lot ;)
I changed some units, for example su isu-152 old, into ones that were not present in the game and I thought would be interesting.
I used multiple sources, mainly GvA (http://web.archive.org/web/2010082305293...troduction.html)
and wwiivehicles.com to figure out armour properties. I reworked almost every vehicle according to a table i created (it's panc.xslx). There's also a table for artillery damage model I invented.
To install the mod simply copy the files inside the folders into the existing game folders. Don't overwrite the whole folders! (you can overwrite units\mechanical, though)
This mod changes the gameplay a lot, so you'd better install it into a spare copy of the game. Now a lot of tanks can be killed with one shot - you really need all your types of units to cooperate, buying 5 tanks won't win the game for you ;). Watch out for AT guns and artillery - they are devastating! Infantry dies faster, too. And yet another thing - one Molotov's cocktail forces the crew to exit their tank.
I checked the files thousands of times, but sometimes got lost, so there might still be some bugs in the mod. The game doesn't seem to crash, I think I didn't spoil anything enough. Feel free to report any problems to me on panzers.tk forum or by e-mail: macer@poczta.onet.pl

Game crashes when i use the infantry tab in the units selection menu, Panzers 2 axis campaign.

Is there some kind of error message to read?
The game crashes right when you klick on the INF tab?
Lets see we can help you out, but i can tell you when i used Panzers Phase III Mod it crashed so many times in all states of the game that i had to delete it again.
I was looking for the new Panzers Phase III Red Version and downloaded it but no one gives me a password for it to install...i dont really know why they lock a mod with a password anyway...stupid...

Well...
I start the Axis Campaign. Second mission, time to select the units im going to take to Mersa Brega. Click in the infantry tab. Game Crash. Codename Panzers II Stoped working. :c It happens in another of the axis missions. No problem with the Allies campaign. There must be a problem with your modification of the Axis units. Btw, my CP3 is 2.14 only for your mod, i have another copy for the 2.15 ^^.

Okay, i checked this. A fresh install of Panzers Phase Two with latest patches and CP2.14 brings me a crash when clicking on "skirmish". Also on some scenarios, only god knows why. When installing macers, you can easily make a mistake which macers made when packing and uploading the mod, he somehow (dont know the reason why doing this), packed the units and mechanical folder into ".zip". If you dont unzip this, you propably get a crash because "units.ini" is calling files from "units" folder which are not there because still packed into the ".zip" File.
However, try to take a look into "Macersrealismmod/copy into CP3 Main/units" and right klick "units.zip" and "mechanical.zip" and klick on "unzip here" to make sure you unpack them but keeping the correct path for the files. Then copy the hole thing into CP3 Main and replace the files.
I tryed it and klicked on every Infantry unit and it worked.

Oh, the mod works. The infantry tab works, the units are limited according to the campaign date, and the machine guns are fixed, at least on the Panzer III F. I didn't saw anything else, i had to write you to make sure you know that by the moment everything works.
SubSilver, that file you gave to Raven is not working anymore, it was deleted, that's so sad, I downloaded this mod too and I have the same bugs Raven had, but I can't fix it, please upload again! :((

I fixed it myself little after I asked for help, but I will download the file anyway, it's a nice mod. Also, what happened to your realistic vehicles?
